What to do with my natural African American hair while serving in the Peace Corps?

You will probably be wearing a cap or beanie anyway so i f you don't want to chop it short defiantly learn to put two braids in it or get some hair nets and wind it into a bun hair net over and then cap also some markets sell different hair shampoos in a natural bar soap form this would be easier and lighter to carry they go by your colour of hair to the type of shampoo soap made by ladies and your hair will thank you for it too!
