(Chinese History) If the Ming Dynasty survived, would the Han Chinese rulers have embraced western technology?
Under the Qing Dynasty, the Manchus refused to adopt western weaponry, and as a result suffered in continuous military defeats. If it was the Ming Dynasty instead, would the Hans have embraced western gun culture?
